Philip Lee Wilson, 51, of Mt. Nebo, WV passed away at his home on Sunday, February 22, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was born on August 13, 1974 at Summersville. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Paul Rose, Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Lee and Betty Drennen; paternal grandparents, Harold and Aileen Wilson; mother-in-law, Linda Haley; and by a brother-in-law, Waine Haley.
He was a member of the Summersville Baptist Church, was a US Army disabled veteran, and was a former underground coal miner with 26 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Tammie Haley Wilson; mother, Patricia “Tish” Rose; father and stepmother, Phil and Debbie Wilson; sister, Stacey (Chad) Jackson; brother, Jamie (Katie) Wilson; brother-in-law, Dwight (Danniele) Haley; step siblings, Paul (Susan) Rose, Maudee (Terry) Montgomery, Danny Simpson, and Joey (Angie) Simpson; several nieces and nephews; and one great niece and one great nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026 in the Summersville Baptist Church with Pastor Philip Wilson officiating. Private interment will follow in Sango Cemetery at Clarksville, TN at a later date.
Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
