DENVER PAUL AMICK
Denver Paul Amick, 82, of Nallen, WV passed away on
Thursday, December 31, 2020 in the Bower’s Hospice
House at Beckley. Born September 1, 1938 at Camp
Creek, WV, he was a son of the late Kenna Orvil and
Thressie Maud Lilly Amick. He was also preceded in
death by his wife, Delores Gale Thomas Boothe Amick;
son Rodney Blaine Amick; grandson, Brandon Paul
Amick; infant sister, Thressie June Amick.
He was a Jehovah’s Witness and was retired from the
Soil Conservation Service with many years of service.
Survivors include three daughters, Tammy Gayle
(Tommy) Dziecichowicz of Mt. Nebo, Paula Darlene
Lesher of Russellville, and Tonya Michelle Amick and
companion, Bryant Noble of Princeton; five siblings,
James Roy (Ella) Lilly of Beaver, Patrick Orvil (Melba)
Amick of Hinton, Athleen Ratliff of Prince George County,
VA, Coleen (Charles) Belcher of Prince George County,
VA, and Kathleen (Gerald) Matherly of Flat Top; two
grandchildren, MacKenzie Ryan Amick Hunt of
Russellville and Dakota Heath (Crystal) Amick of Ansted;
five great grandchildren, Karisma Starr Amick, Tayden
Cole Amick, Ava Maston Hunt, Caleb Workman, and
Justin Paul Amick; granddaughter-in-law, Jaime Hinton.
In keeping with his wish he will be cremated and
memorial services will be held at a later date.
