      Virginia Madalene Foster Johnson, 81 of Craigsville
went Home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 17,
2018. She was the daughter of the late Dennis “Posh”
and Madalene “Mamaw” Foster. She was born in
Summersville on March 22, 1937.

     Her most cherished accomplishments were during her
job as “Mamaw Jenny” for nearly 31 years. She was a
member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church for 48

Legg, Mary (Wilbur Williams) (Art) Hamrick, June Gower;
sisters-in-law Phyllis Copenhaver, Lillian Bailes, Ruth
Forren, Betty Sue Johnson; Gerri Johnson; brothers-in-
law Clarence Johnson, Arley Johnson, Dale Ramsey.

     Survived by - husband J. Darrell Johnson of 58 years;
children: Larry (Carol), Dianna Bennett, Gary (Kim), Arley;
grandchildren: Isaac, Nicole (Tim), Emily, Noel, David
(Carissa), Gary James (Stephanie), Valerie (Joe),
Mackenzie (Ethan), Devin, Braden, Sarah, Kitoria,
Andrew; great-grandchildren: Hadley, Daniel, Hunter,
Lane, Garrett, Spencer, Taelynn, Audrey, Baby Bennett
(David); sisters: Nora Ramsey and Trish (Allen)
Donaldson; brothers: Denny (Jean) Foster, Charlie Bob
(Gloria) Foster, Fred (Patsy) Foster, Rock (Elaine) Foster;
brothers-in law Bruce Gower, Daris Johnson, Tom Bailes,
James Copenhaver, sister-in-law Doris Johnson; and
many special cousins, nieces, and nephews.

     The loving, compassionate care provided by her very
special friend Dr. Sunita Greenberg, Fairview Health
Associates Staff, and CAMC staff is truly appreciated.  
Flowers will be arranged by The Flower Shop in

  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday,
May 22, 2018 in the St. Luke’s United Methodist Church
at Craigsville with Dr. Ken Ramsey, Pastor Corbet May,
Dr. Chuck Pullins, and Pastor Allen Donaldson
officiating.  Interment will follow in the Walker Memorial
Park at Summersville under the direction of the White
Funeral Home at Summersville.

  Friends may call at the St. Luke’s United Methodist
Church Activity Building on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. and
one hour prior on the day of the services.
