                   DELANO HARLOW

Delano Harlow, 85, of Nettie passed away peacefully at
his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, May 10,
2018.  Born April 24, 1933 at Summersville, he was a son
of the late Jake and Minnie Holcomb Harlow.  He was
also preceded in death by three brothers, Ollie, Randall,
and Flavy Harlow and by his special cousin, Oliver Harlow
who was his brother by heart.

Delano worked in the coal mines for 40 plus years, he
loved hunting, fishing, camping and telling the stories
that went along with his adventures, but more than
anything he loved his family.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Mary Jo Bailes
Harlow; one daughter, Pamela (Ron) Lamp of Mineral
Wells; two sons, Michael (Martha) Harlow of Nettie and
Mark (Sharon) Harlow of Calvin; one sister, Nola Barbato
of Grotoes, VA; three grandsons, Shane (Marilia) Perry of
Williamstown, Tod (Ashley) Perry of Parkersburg, and
Saul Michael Harlow of Summersville; one
granddaughter, Elah (Josh) Smith of Fairmont; two
step-grandsons, Nathan and Sam Lamp; one step
granddaughter, Robin Turner; four great grandchildren,
Ethan and Austin of Parkersburg and Mazzy and Renzo
of Williamstown; six step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday,
May 14, 2018 in the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church at
Nettie with Pastors Paul Mateer and Andre Crummett
officiating.  Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery
at Nettie under the direction of the White Funeral Home
at Summersville.

Friends may call at the church on Monday from noon until
the service time.
 The family would like to thank Dr. Kristin Bailes and her
nurse Desta of Camden on Gauley Medical Clinic in
Nettie and all the staff of Kindred Home Health and
Kanawha Hospice for the excellent care they provided for
