               FREDA CHRISTINE CUTLIP


       Rev. Mrs. Freda Christine (Grose) Cutlip, 81, of
Charleston, WV was delivered into the arms of the Lord
May 19, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
      Freda was born in Nicholas Co WV to the late Burke
and Mary Grose. She was preceded in death by her
brothers, Robert, Roger and Darrell Grose and her sister,
Betty Morris Burroughs.
      Freda married Grover Cutlip, they had one son,
Ralph Cutlip.
      Freda was a member of The Calvary Holiness
Chapel. She worked for 26 years as the resident manager
of Jericho House homeless shelter in St. Albans, WV.
While there she helped countless families and became
"Grandma" to many of the children. She was a member of
the Voice of Victory missionary organization where she
traveled multiple times to Haiti to spread the word of God.
She is also the former Pastor of the North Charleston
Wesleyan Holiness Church.
      In addition to her parents and siblings, Freda was
preceded in death by her husband, Grover Cutlip and her
only son, Ralph Cutlip.
      Left to treasure her memory are her Grandchildren;
Melissa (Chanc) Cutlip-Jessie, Jessica (Brad) Simmons,
Leslie (LaDonna) Gilpin and Misti Cutlip.
Great-Granchildren; Joshua, Luke, Sidney, Maddox,
Emma and Adella. Daughter-in-law; LaDonna Cutlip and
special grandsons; Jim Young and Benjamin Salvant,
many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
      A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in the White Funeral Home at
Summersville with her dear friend, Brother Bob Haynes
officiating.  Burial will be in the Grose Family
Cemetery.         Visitation will be 6 to 8 at the Calvary
Holiness Chapel at North Charleston on Tuesday.  
Additional calling hours will be held on Wednesday at the
White Funeral Home in Summersville one hour prior to
the services.
      We would like to thank Alesha Jones and all those
involved in our Gramma's care, we couldn't have done
this without you.
