JAMES “JIM” STICKLER
James “Jim” Stickler, 61, of Mt. Lookout, WV passed away
Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at his home after a two year battle with
cancer. Born September 1, 1953 at Richwood, he was a son of the
late Hylbert and Virginia Norman Stickler. He was also preceded in
death by one brother, Robert Stickler.
Jim was a good hearted person and would help do anything for
anyone, “but Jim was Jim”. His trade was construction and he built
some of the most beautiful homes in Summersville. He loved his
family especially his granddaughter, Kinsey.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Susie Stull Stickler; son,
Graham Stickler; his ”Sweet pea” granddaughter, Kinsey Stickler;
brothers, Tom (Connie) Stickler of Kopperston, Brad (Terry)
Stickler of Kenai, AK; sisters, Karen (Richard) Kirby of Grantsville,
Judy (Matt) McCauley of Fairmont, Jenny Ann (Mark) Griffith of Mt.
Lookout, and Mary Helen Smith of Mannington.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August
1, 2015 in the White Funeral Home at Summersville with Jim Lilly
In keeping with his wishes his body was donated to the West
Virginia Human Gift Registry at Morgantown.
