Rev. Darrell Blaine Sinclair
               REV. DARRELL BLAINE SINCLAIR

     Rev. Darrell B. Sinclair, 91, of Parsons, passed away
Saturday, October 31, 2015 in the Cortland Acres Nursing
Facility at Thomas, WV.  Born July 30, 1924 in Rowlesburg,
Preston County, WV he was the son of the late Benonia
Godfrey and Lula Mae Sinclair.  He married Beatrice Gladys
Wotring on November 14, 1944 in Oakland, MD by Rev.
Minar Sprague; married Naomi Tennant Bonner On May 23,
1993.  Predeceased by Beatrice 11/26/1992 and Naomi
9/14/2003; one son, Paul Joseph and one grandson,
Michael Risner.
     
     Survivors include  children: Larry  Blaine Sinclair
(Ramona); Sharon Lee Francour (Burton); Roger Dale
Sinclair; Patsy Ann Wolfe; Bonnie Jean Sigmon (Darrell);
and Pamela Lynn Eakle (John); 14 Grandchildren and 22
great grandchildren; siblings, Kathleen, Geraldine, Harvey,
Lorain, Bernard, Blondale, Maynard, Half siblings, Hercel,
Albert, Willis, Arthur, Gladys and Marguerite.
     
     Ordained Church of God minister September 1, 1954,
Pastored churches in Brushy Run, Pennsboro, Richwood,
Calvin, Marfrance and Calvin again; responsible for several
startup churches, including one here in Summersville.  He
was a member of Southern Labor Union and employee of
Big Fork Coal Company from the early 60’s where he
worked until 1982 when he was involved in a mining
accident. Previously, he worked for the U.S. Forest Service.
Retired 1984 and moved to St. George. He lived between
St. George and Parsons when he married Naomi in 1993.
He was a resident at Colonial Place, Elkins, West Virginia
(assisted living due to Alzheimer’s) from July 30, 2009 until
September 30, 2015. He moved to Cortland Acres on
September 30, 2015.

  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm in the White
Funeral Home at Summersville on Tuesday, November 3,
2015.  Interment will follow the WV Memorial Gardens in
Calvin.  Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to
service time.
