Kenneth Ray Keppinger
                              KENNETH RAY KEPPINGER

       Kenneth Ray Keppinger, 83, of Mt. Lookout, passed away on
June 9, 2015 at Charleston Memorial Hospital. He was born in
Salem, Oregon on June 29, 1931 to the late Harold Kenneth
Keppinger and Dora Hanson.
       Ken proudly served his country in the US Army during the
Korean War, where he received the Korean Service Metal with 3
Bronze Service Stars, United Nations Service Metal, Purple Heart
and National Defense Service Metal.
       Ken spent most of his life in the western United States living
his dream of being a cowboy for 50 Years. He loved “riding rough
horses and chasing wild cattle”.
       Surviving are his loving wife, Cheryl; five children, Kendra
Keppinger, Rasy Soto, Raven Keppinger, and Sharon Jain. Seven
step-children: Quinton Donley, Billy Donley, Bobby Donley, Robert
Sparks and Hope Nichols and several grandchildren.  One sister,
Charlene Griffith & husband Sam, one brother Floyd Keppinger and
wife Janet.
       He was a member of the Summersville Christian Fellowship
Church. And we would like to thank Pastor Warren Wilson for all he
has done (especially taking the time to talk to Ken about the Bible,
which was one of Ken’s favorite subjects).
       There will be a celebration of life ceremony for Ken on June
29, at 3:00 PM at the Baymont Inn & Suites in Summersville, Room
102.
       In keeping with his wishes he was cremated under the direction
of the White Funeral Home at Summersville.
